Clear work. Clear delivery.
This Service Delivery Policy explains how ORSA GROUP LTD organises, confirms and delivers procurement and supplier management consultancy services for UK businesses.
What this policy covers
ORSA GROUP LTD provides procurement and supplier management consultancy services covering areas such as supplier sourcing, supplier evaluation, procurement processes, quotation review, purchasing coordination and supplier relationship management.
This policy explains the general process used to deliver those services. The exact scope, deliverables, timing and information requirements may vary according to the service selected and the requirements agreed with the client.
Service-specific arrangements take priority.
Where a written service description, proposal, booking confirmation or agreed scope specifies a different delivery arrangement, that agreed arrangement will apply to the relevant service.
How a service begins
A service begins only after the relevant requirement has been identified and the service scope has been accepted.
Requirement received
The client provides the relevant request, business context, objectives and any information needed to understand the work.
Scope confirmed
The applicable service, expected output, information requirements and proposed timing are confirmed before work proceeds.
Information reviewed
Information supplied by the client is reviewed to determine what can reasonably be covered within the agreed scope.
Consultancy work delivered
The agreed consultancy work is carried out and the applicable output is provided through the agreed communication method.
Delivery times
Delivery times depend on the nature of the service, the amount of information required and the agreed scope.
Unless a different period is expressly agreed, the following general service timings apply:
Delivery periods are business-day estimates rather than guaranteed completion dates unless a specific completion date has been expressly agreed.
What the client provides
The quality and timing of consultancy work may depend on the information supplied by the client.
- Relevant supplier or procurement information.
- Existing quotations, specifications or purchasing information where relevant.
- Business requirements and the intended objective of the work.
- Relevant contact or supplier details required for the agreed scope.
- Any specific deadlines or operational requirements known at the start of the service.
Clients should ensure that information supplied for consultancy work is accurate, sufficiently complete and suitable for the agreed purpose.
What is delivered
Depending on the selected service, deliverables may include structured consultancy guidance, supplier comparison information, quotation review notes, procurement recommendations, supplier research, purchasing coordination updates or written summaries.
Where a written output is included within the agreed service, it may be provided electronically by email or another agreed digital method.
The deliverable will be considered provided when it has been sent to the contact method agreed for the service, unless the service description specifies another completion method.
Working with clients
Communication may take place by email, telephone, online meeting or another communication method agreed for the relevant consultancy service.
Where clarification is required, ORSA GROUP LTD may request further information before continuing with the relevant part of the work.
If the requested information is not supplied within 10 business days, the delivery timetable may be adjusted to reflect the delay.
If a client expects a specific deadline, that deadline should be agreed before the relevant work begins rather than assumed from a general delivery estimate.
When delivery takes longer
A delivery period may change where additional information, clarification, supplier information, third-party responses or changes to the agreed scope are required.
- Client information is incomplete or supplied later than requested.
- The client requests additional work outside the original scope.
- Relevant third-party information is not available within the expected period.
- The agreed requirements change after work has started.
- Technical or operational circumstances temporarily prevent the normal delivery method.
Where a material delay becomes apparent, ORSA GROUP LTD will communicate the relevant change and, where reasonably possible, provide an updated expected delivery period.
Changes after work starts
A client may request a change to the agreed consultancy scope.
If the requested change materially affects the work involved, the additional requirement, revised timing and any applicable revised service terms will be confirmed before additional work is carried out.
ORSA GROUP LTD will not treat additional work as automatically included simply because it relates to the same general procurement or supplier management matter.
When a service is complete
A consultancy service is normally considered complete when the agreed scope has been carried out and the applicable deliverable or agreed service output has been provided.
Where the service includes a defined consultation or meeting, the service is normally completed when the agreed consultation has taken place and any included follow-up material has been supplied.
Follow-up questions relating directly to the delivered scope may be addressed within the period stated in the relevant service description. Unless otherwise stated, clarification requests should normally be raised within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Practical and professional delivery
ORSA GROUP LTD aims to provide consultancy services in a clear, organised and professional manner, with the work focused on the agreed procurement or supplier management requirement.
Consultancy information is prepared using the information reasonably available within the agreed scope. It is intended to support business decision-making and does not constitute a guarantee of a particular commercial result, supplier response or purchasing outcome.
Temporary interruptions
In limited circumstances, service delivery may be temporarily interrupted by technical issues, communication failures, unavailable information or circumstances outside reasonable operational control.
Where an interruption materially affects an agreed delivery period, ORSA GROUP LTD will take reasonable steps to resume the service and communicate any material change to the expected timing.
Other service terms
This Service Delivery Policy should be read together with the applicable service description, Terms & Conditions, Service Cancellation Policy and any other terms specifically agreed for the relevant consultancy service.
Where statutory rights apply, nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict those rights.
Clear work. Clear communication.
If you require clarification about the delivery of an ORSA GROUP LTD consultancy service, please contact us before the relevant service begins.
